The SmartCommUnity partner Standortagentur Tirol (SAT) shares insights from the Smart Region Lienzer Talboden in East Tyrol, Austria

As part of the pilot initiative, SAT is developing a smart datahub solution to support the digital and sustainable transition of mountain regions. By collecting real-time data from public community buildings, the pilot enables more efficient energy monitoring, cost-effective building management, and improved decision-making for local authorities.
The solution is currently being implemented in the municipalities of Amlach and Lienz, providing a valuable testing ground for digital tools that aim to enhance regional resilience and foster smart governance.
